Question:
I'm a setter on the team. And I don't know how we or I, am going to let the coach know what is happening. She doesn't know what is really going on within the team. And I feel like letting her know might not make a difference.
Answer:
You should get the team together and go into a small room and talk it out. Everyone on the team needs to talk about how they are feeling. Go around the group and each player says what they need to say. It might take up to an hour because it may take awhile for some people to get comfortable enough to say what they need to say. This doesn't involve the coach. This is a talk just between teammates.
A friend of mine was coaching a team a couple years ago with a similar problem. The front row players were fighting with the back row players. He didn't really know what was going on until a couple players decided to tell him about it. When he found out, he put the entire team in a room and told them they can't come out until they work things out. About an hour later they came out and everything was fine.
